By securing Telstra Dome (Etihad Stadium) as the hub for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal telethon, the Stadium’s relationship with Melbourne’s largest fundraising event was firmly established.

Given the diverse range of stakeholders involved, bringing all the elements together in one place for the first time in many years provided numerous logistical challenges. In particular, providing a central location for the multi-faceted operation for this iconic Melbourne event by coordinating over 10,000 volunteers working inside the venue, whilst managing 20,000 patrons attending numerous activities outside the venue, required significant planning.

Etihad Stadium was 10-year major partner and supporter of the Good Friday Appeal.
