A photographic exhibition is set to launch at Eden Park, but it won’t be featuring any All Blacks.

Shot by Kingsland photographer Lee Howell, Our Neighbourhood features photos and stories of people involved with the legendary Auckland sports ground, which dates back to 1900.

However, Howell said he had not photographed a single athlete as the project was purely about the people off the pitch that make the ground special.

10 memorable moments from my Save a Man: Kilimanjaro Challenge 2016

In November this year, I completed the Save a Man Challenge for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia by spending 12 days trekking to the top of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

I know it might sound a little cliché but the best thing about memories is making them. I will never forget the memories during this trip with my fellow hikers, whilst we collectively raised over $60,000 for such a worthy cause.

What are one of your goals for this year?
In 2017, Eden Park will host three British and Irish Lions fixtures with an estimated global audience of 200 million households.

I had the pleasure of being involved in two Lions tours in Melbourne and the passion and interest in New Zealand is arguably greater than that for the Rugby World Cup.

Naturally, these fixtures provide a huge opportunity for Eden Park to further enhance our global reputation as an iconic stadium.
