What are one of your goals for this year?
In 2017, Eden Park will host three British and Irish Lions fixtures with an estimated global audience of 200 million households.

I had the pleasure of being involved in two Lions tours in Melbourne and the passion and interest in New Zealand is arguably greater than that for the Rugby World Cup.

Naturally, these fixtures provide a huge opportunity for Eden Park to further enhance our global reputation as an iconic stadium.

Industry executive Nick Sautner has returned to sport and venue management, taking up the position of General Manager Commercial at Eden Park, New Zealand’s largest sports stadium.

Welcoming the new appointment, Eden Park Trust Chief Executive Guy Ngata stated “Nick’s achievements are considerable and he brings deep and broad experience to the team. “His efforts will be focused towards the continued sustainable commercial management of our iconic venue. I am delighted to welcome Nick to the team.”

Recently crowned Big Bash League champions, Perth Scorchers, have secured nearly three times the sponsorship dollars this year compared with last year on the back of two tournament wins in successive seasons.
